Yellow Season brings two panels together to create a continuous landscape of the rapeseed fields of County Down. The seam remains visible, while the fields, hedgerows and sky continue across both panels.

The dead trees stand bare and unchanged against the yearly return of the rapeseed, whose brief blaze of yellow transforms the land. Their presence speaks of loss that remains visible, even as life continues around it.

Together, the two panels suggest that a landscape, like a life, can hold absence and abundance at the same time.
